While all tracks should have such polite clerks, it is easier to maintain such attitudes when it is a short term meet. Even for the best intentioned clerks it is hard to maintain such a good attitude when the meet grinds on and on and on. <br /><br />This sport will survive. Unfortunately, there will be more pain. Those that look at racing as a way to cash a pay check will have to be forced out first and that will happen as the industry continues to downsize.
