I don't remember hearing any outcry from that. Studart didn't seem to be upset when she posed for her pictures.

It just seems a little disingenuous to take the pictures and then cry foul.

It's the summer of George. It took a real small track take the dare to begin with.
Katie in Chicago is a cutey.

I hope this comment doesn't offend too many. I won't be upset if a female commenter says that Jim Bannon or Jeff Bratt is hot, but I will question her judgment.

Oh and PTP, on your other post, I said "mud" wrestling, I don't know why you changed it to "jello>" Seems I'm not the only one who has been thinking about those types of things:)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8560898823512627114.post-51530255735947650672008-12-04T00:16:00.000-05:002008-12-04T00:16:00.000-05:00Lou,Good point. It is easily googled.

Teresa, whom I believe as I can not see her blowing smoke for no reason, said the young lady was none to pleased about that shot being around on the net. I have no desire to promote something that someone does not want promoted.

However, the post stands. I agree with your thoughts very much. Out with the old school; let's start marketing racing like other sports have. David Beckham has shots on the soccer website that are getting young girls to take a look at soccer. I have no problem with either sex doing their thing should they so choose to promote our or any sport.

It is time to start acting like a business, in highly competitive market, not a government protected entity who thinks that fans will fall all over themselves to watch a horse.

PTPPull the Pockethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05082676049275768769noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8560898823512627114.post-62212468494781656552008-12-03T20:25:00.000-05:002008-12-03T20:25:00.000-05:00I did not get to read your previous post until now...I did not get to read your previous post until now, but I assume the photo you refer to is a bikini shot of Studart. I don't know why you bowed to pressure to remove it.I think we have a valid question- Would it kill racing executives to promote Studart a little more? She has been promoted somewhat--See my blog on her Fox appearance-and people seem to like her.

I think in her brief US racing career at Florida and Now NY she has shown herself to be a gutsy rider. She is also well spoken, a great interview and quite good looking. It we promote all of that, where is the problem?

A litte more Jockey recognition can only help the sport, whether that jockey is male or female.SaratogaSpahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05181152277681879529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8560898823512627114.post-41049615555259465862008-12-03T20:23:00.000-05:002008-12-03T20:23:00.000-05:00Can you next please email these very thoughts to e...Can you next please email these very thoughts to every big-wig in our sport please start with P.
